this was shot using a "panning" technique at 1/320 at F5.6 to capture the sharpness of the car, while showing it's speed... notice the mud flying over the car and "speed" of the track and tires,

A hobby stock car, during a "heat" race. the new tranny came off and was so hot it caught on fire. the driver was unhurt, but the tranny wasn't so lucky.
