There are a few things I really like about your post. The artistry in your composition and usage of d.o.f. is brilliant and the white blow outs work to enhance mystery and focus on the tea. I think we need to have a "blow outs" contest because this photo is a great example of how "blow outs" work to strengthen a photograph. Thank you for this post for it has got me thinking (and that is a rare occurrence lately).
