Actually, I have no idea why those Japanese go ga-ga over this matcha tea...I think it's the ceremony surrounding the tea that propels it into the stratosphere. Really the tea sucks, it's bitter and makes one's tongue curl. BUT BUT BUT your tea really stains the teeth....have you met one British citizen with white teeth? huh ....ah haaaa, didn't think so!

Yes, the real matcha tea that they make a big deal over during the tea ceremony...it is bitter.
