Interesting shot, but not enough of the subject (birthday cake). The focal point is the candles and the "Happy Birthday" decoration, with a few candy dots. It almost looks like they are sitting on a towel. Pretty, but slightly misses the mark, here.
Nice, love the candles.
Nice use of DOF... might help if the candles were lit, though
And ruin those cute candles? LOL
