locksmagic: You make a good point Mark and I agree, but unfortunately without a definitive list of the most important items it becomes very subjective. One could argue that they think it is the most important and how can you argue with someones opinion? You said it was their top choice so telling them they are wrong is kinda not an option.

Perfect shot author...well done
Using a simple mirror in the opposite direction of the flash works like a "fill light".
That way you have a beautiful " soft " light ,lighting the darker parts of your composition so there is a balance between darker & lighter areas!
