Good idea, but the swan is a down shot & the perspective doesn't work. I'd suggest removing or replacing.

I was just joking about the Star Trek reference, but if you watch the program, the woman ARE always SUPER sexualized. Those short skirts and those PUSH UP AND OUT bras. Always cracked me up.

Exactly the sweat thing came from that oil stain.
I thought it would be perfect to add the word SWEAT to it.
And yes..!! I'm always in search of story.
But sometimes adding a title feels awkward to me. I only put a title when its hard to know the story of the picture or where I'm presenting it.
Picture that tells no story, well it's hard to capture then to tell.. 😂😂
    .
Oh.!! the seat was a bit out of focus.
My phone is of f/2.8 (seriously 😞)... but I don't know how it manages to supply some beautiful close ups with good blured background. 😂😂

This is a photograph from a mind who thinks out of the box. Catching shadows so well, the triangular seat to follow the contest rules, the oil stain above in the frame that marries well with the title you have provided. Please remember that titles DO MATTER especially if you have a gallery showing it means that the title can either make your sale or break it. The only catch I have is I do wish the triangular seat was a bit sharper. Before I cast my vote I will study your image in hi-resolution. Love your thought process and your pov is strong and unusual.

What instantly drew me to this entry was the warm colour palette, you shot this during golden hours. The sharpness is present through all the planes and that triangle goes on and on into the horizon line. You took the horizon to the 2/3rd and 1/3rd rule and produced a spellbinding image that warms us and takes us on a visual journey. Tonal contrasts are well done giving this image further depth.

Did you apply the Orton Effect to this piece as it is so dreamy and artistic? I do think you need to matte this, sign this and frame this and hang it up on a wall to enjoy it fully. Photographic art....I love it.

You're right. I had some but they didn't show up well in the final version. It's like they disappeared. Maybe I clicked when I shoulda clacked and turned them off by accident. I made them darker, even darker than before. Thanks for the tip.

I understand both of your comments about the picture being a bit soft. That was the nature of the day. There was a bit of a mist in the air. That, coupled with air quality, also accounts for the sky color. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

I agree with olga it could be a tad sharper and also that hand should have been more complete and also you could crop some of the top in this, what does work is the human connection between you and the subject and the fact you conversed with him is a big plus, nice one that

A ship rollin'in and a sailboat "rollin" out! Good catch and nice pov. You also caught the plane and gave meat to your story. You do have to clean your sensor there are numerous dust spots throughout your image...dust the bane of all photographers. The image is soft and most likely once again you were gunning for a dreamy effect.

One is drawn to this monochrome photograph. You have good contrast, shape and texture showing and that is a plus for monochromatic shots. There is good tonal contrast also...black to white and much in between. Furthermore, there is a nice quality of light here, meaning it is soft and diffused but the patterns and texture of water easily picked up.
