Contest goal:

For this contest, I'd like to see some drawings or sketches that are from only pencil. This means no paintings, no pens, no markers, no colored pencils or crayons, just pencils. The catch is that you have to include either a light bulb or a flower in your pencil drawing.
REMEMBER these contests require that you post at least 2 intermediate steps of your drawing in a step by step guide, so we can see the progress of your work.
Reference photos are allowed (no copyrighted images), but links should be mentioned in your SBS. Include links for all images.

artbybambi: Colored pencils count or are they a no-no too? ( 5 years and 2892 days ago )

Contest Moderator: Only graphite pencils are allowed NO colored pencils. You can use a standard writing pencil like a number 1 or 2 pencil or traditional graphite drawing pencils which are available in the "H" series meaning hard leads or "B" series which are soft. HB pencils are most popular and a good compromise between hard and soft leads very similar to a standard writing pencil. ( 5 years and 2892 days ago )

I began this a quite awhile ago...was just now able to complete it. I used only graphite pencil and a smudge tool for blending. I did this from my imagination and just worked on it a little at a time. Sorry...I do not have photos of the early stage of the drawing. (5 years and 2892 days ago)
