i started by removing the background of the statue of liberty. I then used different textures i pulled off the flickr. then I got the aztec temple removed the sky and added one i made myself. then i changed edited the final product with a levels adjustment layer.

cut out the climber using the lasso tool, then i used filters to color him in. Cut out a 2 pieces and beveled one to make the ledge and the other i used as a rock to put over his legs

I used the pen tool to take the wind mill out. then i used the pen tool to make the windmill look like it was behind the more modern one. then i used hue/saturation to get the sky to match the windmill better, and i used levels to color correct a bit. also clone stamped some pieces out, added some blur, then one last levels to get the colors to match and not look as dark

Used the selection circle to take out the quarter, dime, and nickle. placed the 50 cent piece on the swing, used the lasso to bring part of the swing forward.
