Early morning sun shining through the mist on the River Eden (5 years and 1910 days ago)
Very pretty. Nice mood and good reflections
ooh I love this one!
Thank you very much, all three of you
Love this! Very well done
Sweet...reminds me of Monet.
Nice framing & mood author.
Thank you all for your encouragement
I love the soften and yet sharp quality to this image ... perfect combination and lovely composition. In B&W is has a simple beauty and an excellent dramatic quality!
Very nice ! congrats!

Excellent subject matter! That is one of the neatest looking buildings I've ever seen (aside from the Guggenheim museum). Only critique is that the high res is somewhat noisy and there could stand to be a SLIGHT bit more contrast (that's just nitpicking though). Good luck to you!
great choice of subject
Bang on theme!
Very nice... the reflections add a lot to the shot
I think that the right building is a little bit bleary.
Congrats for your third place, Seymour!

This gorgeous sand sculpture of a mermaid was created on a beach in Holland...my photo (5 years and 1921 days ago)
This is freakin cool, I mean I've never figure out how to do a little castle, I can't even imagine doing that!
Lovely sculpture, but the photo is a little flat.
I have to agree with the flat comment, the image is a little lifeless, it lacks umph!
If shot in the mid day sun with the light above it would show off the shadows and textures
Oh man i love this! Whoever built that sculpture is a genious very well done and the best of luck to you author
I agree teebone!
I took this a while ago, before I had a half decent camera. It's a scan from a film photo. I'll see if I can dig it out and rescan it on better quality, or photograph the photo...
All it really needed was a bump in contrast.
