kyricom: Campers... a "saying" is not the same thing as a "quotation." ( 5 years and 3121 days ago )
MnMCarta: Can you give me an example of both so I know if I did the wrong things and change them? ( 5 years and 3120 days ago )
kyricom: A "quote" (which is actually misusing the verb as a noun) is short for "quotation." A quotation is simply something that someone else has said. It can be attributed to a specific person. A "saying" is simply one of those aphorisms we've heard all our lives that states an opinion or life lesson (e.g. "what goes around, comes around". We've heard them a million times, but we have no idea who said it first, it can NOT be attributed. ( 5 years and 3120 days ago )
MnMCarta: I should have reminded you that I need to be spoken to like a 2yr old. LMAO APHORISMS...google here I come! TY for the explination! ( 5 years and 3120 days ago )

"It moves"

Galileo considered his theory of the tides to provide the required physical proof of the motion of the earth.

Tamron 18-270 Di II lens
iso 50
F:5.6
1&1/2 hour exposure

S.B.S

A Rular area is a must for this kind of shots.
Big city's have a lot of "light pollution" & is impossible to capture the movement of the stars.
Find the scene that you like, compose, frame it & you are ready!
A tripod & a dslr with "bulb" function is a must.
Set the focus to "manual" & focus to infinity (so you have the Hyperfocal distance). The concept of hyperfocal distance is easy to understand: focus a lens at the hyperfocal distance and everything in the photograph from some near distance to infinity will be sharp. Landscape photographs are often taken with the lens focused at the hyperfocal distance; near and distant objects are sharp in the photos.
Try different settings (f number) but the iso should be the lowest possible!
3-5 shots are enough to get a good result.
Here you see 3 vertical frames of 30 minutes each.

Hope i help with this s.b.s & keep shooting.....
