Good render and good humour. There are embarassing moments when I dream at this room, LOL. Two minors observations. Toilett paper still look rigid, maybe a relax or wave modifier could make it more atractive. And the toilet itself look a little higher as normal. As usual, few good geometric models, like the sink, can be seen only in SBS. I know, is frustrating to work on details which can not be seen in final render. Impressed by mr sky portal, is this a new feature of max 10 ? Good luck, good work.

mohan, this may be his/her dreamroom. It IS a room. I think this is awesome! For some reason I don't see any humor in any of it--maybe that had to be the being born blonde part of me. I just don't get the joke I guess cause I think this is pretty awesome! The only critisicm I could make it hte toilet seat cover's material is odd in HR but it could just be the way it finally rendered.

lol, if you lived in the house I lived in, you'd know why this is my dream room. That, and I also tried to stay away from the inevitable.

Looks good. I like it! The details and the various objects makes the scene come to life. I also like the fact that you've done a detailed SBS that clearly shows your work!

I don't know about 3DS Max's capabilities, but It may look even better with better shadowing (for example "Final Gather" Global Illumination, with the window as the main lightsource). You could also use focal blur the bars. And adjust the cameras focal length to cover more of your work! But that's just my opinion. Good job anyway!

dka, 5 seconds before reading your comment I' ve noticed that I forgot to switch on the V-Ray shadow on the key photometric light. Tonight my brain and my CPU are burning. I shall try a new render tomorow. Thanks, great minds think same way

About the lens coverage. I' ve work on cm measure units. All room have exactly 6 x 2,5 meters, like a real prison cell. I wish to suggest a real straight space.

great rendition of a cell (note - normally, garbage cans are not allowed inside the cell, just a bunk, toilet/sink, and a desk area, everything made out of metal and steel....and rather than cups and what not, you'd probably see commisary products there, like snacks, deoderant, toothpaste, and hey, you can even buy Nike's in jail!)

Looks good, but you could probably do much better with some adjustments.

First of alI think there's way to much reflection on some parts. Especially the frames on the armchairs and the sofa. They seem to reflect more than a mirror. The carpet seems to have to much contrast (to much bump?). Modeling some simple fur on it would probably make a big difference. The lighting could be greatly improved with a different setup and Global Illumination (depending of Cinema 4D version). God luck anyway.

Water usually has some transparency at that angle. The water would have looked good on an outside scene, but not in a pool. Good bumping anyway.
