Great concept, try a little blur perhaps a little motion blur. It may ad a bit of fluidity to the liquefy filtered zones.

"CBR" as it is, is an acronym for Chopped Beyond Recognition. It is an old carry over expression from the old days of this web site. You have taken the original image and completely altered it as a whole. Therefore "CBR'd" it.
The way you have done it definitely has some recognizable elements of the original source i.e.: the fabric of the hat and the fur. Very nice job.

The brightness of the stone wall on the "axe girl's" left is some what bright compared to the other wall. perhaps toning that down would help the girl stand out a little more. Nice work I like the concept.

Author there is improvement on the shadow/grounding effect. Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but in hi-res I am still seeing a fine light color trace along the shoes. Maybe the burn tool or a small clone stamp along the edges in the shadows would take care of that. Nice composition, good luck.

This is a great idea and effort. I have to say the white rat looks "wetter" in the original source though. A Fine (small sized) smudge brush would be in order for the "White Rat indeed". Good luck and have fun.
