Well done, like this one a lot. This image has emotive power and we get absorbed by the determined face of this young man.

I like this photo for so many reasons. First of all your snow is white and the naturalness of setting draws me into it. You have composed it nicely by inclusion of bushes on the side and the eye is taken into it's depth. How absolutely lovely that there is a duck there in the distance...that, for me was the icing on this well baked cake! Technical elements all well handled, sharp, contrasted, exposure all A+ this one ought to do well in this contest.

This is an OH WOW bridge, where is it located? Well balanced, no dust spots clean and vast.

Solid presentation, clear and well done with exposure and contrast. No aberrations noted and saturation is real without overcooking. A rather peaceful looking scene.

Clear and sharp and they all are ignoring you making them look like little statues. Personally, I would not have minded a bit of a nip up on the grass but that is all about artistic prerogative and I bow to yours.

Take your eye to the raven that is taking off the branch, now go straight up up up up to the first little branch that is sticking out. See that blotch? Looks like cloning gone wrong. Did you remove a raven there? I like the starkness of this image a lot.

Yikes, yes old indeed and that is shown on your image. The two flags add to the evocative element of this photo....dead but not forgotten.

I would like to chime in and agree with Lifetime Damage's assessment. As a general rule photographs that are sliced in half are perceived by the brain as boring, so a crop down would work wonders to highlight the cemetery, which is the focus of this contest. I do think this a well taken shot and we get caught up in the repeat of patterns of the stones and we love patterns.

I like the composition of this shot and the way it draws me into it. Framing the stones with FAIRVIEW is a good touch. Furthermore, the autumn feel, the skeleton of the tree in the background all adds to a fine photo that is visually appealing.

That iron pole smack dab in my face is truly a distraction but the lighting is really wonderful and I am reminded to shoot cemeteries during the haunting hours of day!

I like this image, not the dead, but the image is strong,
But I think the image will be stronger if you cut off some sky.
Now it's 55% clouds 5% trees and 40% graveyard.

Wow, literal and metaphorical is right, alright. Good catch and I wonder what your neighbours thought of you roaming through this graveyard as the sun was going down? I like how the graveyard is awash in darkness yet the stones stand out clearly. I do think that the sky steals the thunder from the shot somewhat but the marriage of title and photo go together like a hug and a squeeze!

You are so creative and go the extra mile to get it right. Your creativity knows no bounds. A bit more sharpness on the bubble I think would have punched it out more.

It's the colours, the patterns and the good focus on this board game that takes it to the to for me. Also the unobtrusive background further highlights the game. Nice one.

First time I went to Walles, I asked people if we could find some abalones on the shore. I didn't know the word "abalone" in English so I drew one on a peace of paper. They said there were plenty on a beach and told me where it was. When I got there the beach was full of... jellyfish. Probably my drawing was not so good

Good luck to anyone thinking they can top this presentation. Sharp through all levels, mysterious clouds, good illumination, excellent exposure and lovely contrast. Top of the line work.

Nice shot of rooftops with chimneys showing their presence somewhat. The sky washes out the image.

This looks like a load of fun...a bit blurred but there is a nice secondary echo in the background sub.

I don't really get the title at all except that the top jellyfish looks like peanut butter, as does the lower one. I like the natural colours of this and the fact that it doesn't have an overcast hue on it.

Yes, I like it better, don't you? Not only that the bright spot is gone but you have this little fox peering in, leaning into the photo all thanks to that nice composition you have.

Looks like a dragon in flight, in fiery flight that is. Did you try adding a bit more contrast to bring out the blackness?

Awww, I like this and your title is good. See on the left side how bright his fur is ? It is the tendency of the human eye to gravitate to the brightest pop on the canvas, so our eyes go there and away from his face. I wonder if you cropped this a tad tighter and eliminated that bright spot and totally focused on his face if it would give you a stronger photograph. Between you and me and the 4 walls of this computer, I don't think this is such a terrible failure, instead, it whispers of nature's hiddend beauty.

You caught a nice play of light on this black and white of roses. Why did you nip of the bouquet at the right? This is well exposed and the detail is clearly seen.

Canada could use a bit more patriotism, frankly.
