love the idea and the feel of ur image, agree with what greymval said about the blending and edges and also the umbrela reflection in the water is wrong u cant do mirror reflections by simply flipping the image there quite hard to do right but with water u have the advantage of doing a more distorted and vague reflection good luck

to me the contest meens there are myths and folklores that there are yet to be discovered creatures in the seas. it doesnt say anything about using documented myths about specific creatures. so id say ur entry is fine

great idea i like it looks nice.. are the lights suposed to be on the flies tales because if so the one on the top right is way off and the top left one could be lined up a little better

realy need to fix the reflection i know they can be quite difficult with 3d objects if u want a mirror image. might be easier to do a more vague reflection using the same colors
