There's nothing to give the black sheep any sense of "lord" or "overlord," or leader. He just looks really unhappy about being in the forest with the white sheep.

If you want him as the "ringleader," you'll need more than just a cigarette. Maybe a crown, maybe a gangster suit with a flower in the lapel, maybe have him on a dais with the other sheep beneath him looking at him.

Just changing the background is not conveying your concept, you need to put a little more adjustment into it to visually establish the "pecking order" of the group.

The darkness on the RH side is not consistent with the rest of the illumination of the werewolf's face, though...His body needs more light, instead of just the face with a bit of the claws.

well, that is just my subjective point of view, i liked up to the 3rd step.... you toiled so much on this entry... and i didn't mean to offend you.

i never told you to remove your entry nor i didn't say it's bad, and i don't really care whether it is a painting or tracing.... it's all up to you!!! and i REALLY think that your image is worth to take part in this competition. and frankly speaking i don't understand why are you so nervous about the comments?

so much work done, but imho it's not worth the result.... good luck!

You're not being totally truthful, here, Author.
It is a Digital TRACING that is painted, not a true Digital Painting.

You did not freehand the subject, you traced it.

That is not to take away from the beauty of the image, just a point of clarification, as tracings, like reference images and tutorial studies, should be labeled as such when entered into competitions.

First of all welcome to PXL, I like this entry
First thing that came to mind was that a slight use of color can lift this entry (NOT to much!). If you want to color it: please do not color it with pencils but use soft pastels or (if you have it) an airbrush, that way you can make better gradients.
This is just my idea and you shouldn't do it if you disagree, it's YOUR entry after all
