Sweet and welldone. The shadow for the butterfly is maybe a bit too big, but that's just a tiny nitpick and not really bothering. Good luck!

Thanks all. Waz, I reduced the shadow a bit. Thanks.

I just want a ride!!! - created by IRONCOW

I just want a ride!!!
Favs: 0SBS: 3Hi-resRank: 12/12Score: 52.9% (0)4444 views

was hard to find any good images to make this. for what I had to work with I think it turned out ok. I wish this Ride had a bigger coin unit on it. its a slot in the fender. Thats why I added the base dragging behind it.
Hi-Rez it looks better the massive contrast kinda bugs out in the smaller ver. (5 years and 3196 days ago)

Great fun image.....and nice Integration of the hot dog ride....do watch you edges tho (back of the hot dog ride) should be smooth like the front bumper.......and the cable that is dragging the base should disappear behind the back wheel arch.

author says:

Thanks War lol I moved the cables layer up by mistake I guess. the baback was all lumpy from the filters and the 2 layers mixing I just went in and fixed it. thanks again

Just another perspective - created by lundmikkel

Just another perspective
Favs: 4SBS: 4Hi-resRank: 1/12Score: 65% (36)16695 views

I thought I would look at the contest from another perspective than the rest of the contestants. So I just changed the whole thing.

Everything is done within Photoshop. To 3D program used, to vector or anything like that.

Unfortunately I didn't have the time to add the lighthouse light at the top - another time :)

Hope you like it, it's my first entry since the site change name from PST... (5 years and 3273 days ago)

A bit too much blur, but everything else is great!
PS: Good to see you're back, author!

avatar Alan2641

Nice idea well done

-- PS welcome back wondered where you were hiding (LOL)

author says:

Yeah, I had my doubts about the blur. That's why I added the last step in SBS to show the details missing. But the high res wasn't made for full size viewing.

avatar ponti55
ponti55 says:

Looks like incredibly tedious work, author.. but an excellent idea and very well executed.

avatar erikuri
erikuri says:

That's a different point of view!...
And let's consider blur as a soft focus, or DOF... I like both versions!

author says:

@Erikuri:
It was supposed to be DOF...

And I meant:
No 3D program, vector or anything like that was used...

I'm just wondering why a grayscale background? The cat and for ground is in color. I'm just curious to the reason.

avatar hazem

it is so sweet and so funny ,good luck

author says:

The foreground is also grayscale, only the kitten isn't. I did it for the overall image, didn't like the original colours, maybe I could try something else with the colours
