Erased face from picture and placed over the sourceimage
Erased unwanted areas
Added color and burn for more definition
Used liquefy to soften hoodie edge
Used clone tool to cover up blue dress and arm
Cropped orignal picture to achieve final result

Realized I'd left part of the sweater picture out...added this to eliminate 'floating arm, cleaned upper face area and worked on sweater edges (5 years and 2366 days ago)
i like the concept! good luck. it looks sort of like she has her thumb under the skin on her neck. her arm is just a bit "off", seems to be floating. the top left corner of her face needs just a bit of work too.

Nicely done but I think you should erase the foot on the right, it seems like it's floating, letting the plant show only would benefit your concept.
Oh your right... had ment to, but was rushing cause I was going out of town. Stuck that way now.

I guess it would have been better with less sources. The image looks a bit messy now.
You've only created a partial shadow for the steps (Which doesn't work with the light in the source image, which is from upper left), and you've split the light source in the background.
