It's a nice compo, author, but a different color of the background would be good, because dancers become mixed up with it, and it takes a minute to recognize the image.
Sorry, this is just too minimal use of source...

The differing resolutions are very obvious here... but it's a nice idea with good shadows. Good luck!

I agree that the different resolutions here are a bit distracting. I would do a lens blur with a gradient channel on the background, just to see if that helps. Just thinking that it might defocus the background just enough. Good luck!
