Good choice for the theme. The shadows look more like outer glows and don't anchor the balls to the background, however. I think the intermediate cue ball should be fainter, but probably not to the same degree as the intermediate orange ball since the cue ball is changing direction.

I like this...perhaps save a high res version. It's hard to tell...but it looks like you could possibly use some softer edges on table and vase. Nice work, though!!
