Actually wanted to create fantasy/rpg characters based on the mascot... But later on dropped the whole idea...
Then after seeing *cough cough* someone's revolutionary pic, I thought of this idea...
Making a family outta the mascot... Hope you guyz like it...

I tried to show that the grandparent's time is past, while the parent's time is present. The child, who is the future, is in the forefront. It's in an oil painting format because that was the medium of choice for the grandma's generation, showing that the influence of the past still affects the present and the future. layered in cut-out from my photo of a baby Quaker Parrot, which I had "tinted" blue. Cloned more background and blanket around the baby bird and did some shadow work where the bird's beak meets the foot. (5 years and 3599 days ago)

A very good idea, but only one horse has the required number of legs to stay upright. If you have a look at the yellow and white knights horses on your source image, you can see that their left hind legs are partially obscured by their right front legs, both right hind legs are visible as is the yellow knights left front.
no, we have to go now to left!

This is a cool looking image good stuff! but you need to fix the legs of the horses tho
I would like to see whole horses with hooves on the payment so the knights look like they're in the picture, not just in front of it.

@Mario, would you mind pasting the link for that tutorial... Also if you read the description, I was originally planning to make rpg style char, but later on dropped on the idea... And then after seeing CMYK's revolutionary pic in the forum, I thought ahh lets go mafia style...
So what if the style comes out same... Also this is done with pure sketching in illustrator... And you can't learn sketching thru tutorials... It's something one develops by his/her own...
So please don't accuse me of ripping...
