Looks like a very low resolution background...IMO kinda mars what otherwise is a great image.
Incredible job author, very well blended and great lights. I really like the job you did to the girl's body. Perhaps as CMYK46 said, the background shows a lot of chromatic disturb, and more, some shadows could be added on the roots in the lower-left area. Just an opinion for my part! Good luck.
It isn't a low res image...I applied the poster edge filter
I agree with both CMYK46 and rusvelt2000. The girl is really well done but the background detracts from the image. The stars are too graphic IMHO and repetitious. You'll find better ones with more variety here: http://getbrushes.com/space-photoshop-brushes/jennbs-starlight-brushes.php I think you'll have a great image if you work on the background as has been suggested.

Author, it's better without the fake stars, and forgive me if I seem like I'm meddling, but you might want to hit the background with a shot of Despeckle or Reduce Noise. I still like your concept a lot.
So much better without the stars! The background seems to work well now, not sure if you adjusted the texture or not but your entry looks great to me and deserves a vote to match the fine work!
