wow this is great
yep got to agree with Tuckinator
At least give it a skull & crossbones flag...otherwise it's just another sailing ship. Also, the hull needs a shadow as well as the sails...
I see plenty of shadow on the side of the ship and the water, as a matter of fact I can even see a skull and cross bones on a whole sail...I take you are still wearing too dark of a pair of shades CMKY. BTW author welcome to pxleyes.
Have to agree with Ichappell.. it's a swell image.. great find for the back ground
i see the shadows and the sail bears the Davy Jones matey
yep got to agree with lchappell, Drivenslush, cabldawg71,and Tuckinator
Thanks for all the positive comments!
Aye, matey, very nice drawing indeed. I see the shadows and indeed she bears a skull 'n crossbones....... it's there in the shadows, real stealth-like.
Cool. The low sun would stretch the shadow image, not compress it, however. (And I think that might also add to the drama of the image.) More challenging is figuring out how the rough surface of the water would distort the shadow falling on it.
I wonder, how did you put the skull and cross bones on the sail? Did you draw them yourself?
any water-like effect on the shadow would be nice. ripple may be ?
Welcome and nice job. looks dead sexy!!
