What's the source for the background leaves?
In step 1 of the SBS, I've got the source labeled "fern". I used the pen tool within the lines to make copies of leaves of various shapes.
Probably should have labeled it "leaves", but a fern-like plant was what I had in mind. Dang. I forgot to label the foreground leaves. I took those from the source labeled "branch".

the one thing that I wonder is that with all that's curved, it seems odd that the lizard's wings are straight. IMHO, they would look more like the other critters if they were warped a little. high marks, tho, love it.

Nice! the left leaf is to bright on the bottom, it should blend with the same shading as the big stam, so a lot darker
