Looks dull...I'd think the spotlights would brighten it up...
Maybe add some contrast?
I like the handle of the cup being the C in circus, but I also agree the image is dull. Perhaps the treatment that you used on the press should only have been used on the glass portion of the press so that the outline and structure of the press would have remained bold. Great concept, with a little work on the execution it would be really great.
