The grass is always greener looking back.

In my rush I forgot to add a step by step guide and cannot for the life of me find where I can do it now. So I'll go through the steps I used here until I can find where to load it.

First thing I did was remove the swans/ducks from the lake using a combination of the clone stamp tool and patch tool.

I then added a selective color mask to change the colors in the top part of the image.

Next, I add a hue/saturation mask to brighten the colors on the bottom.

I then painted in the vines, grass, and cracks using brushes found in photoshop.

That's the whole point. The reflection is meant as a metaphor for better days gone by. The reflection image is supposed to be incorrect. Thanks for the comment and sorry for the misunderstanding. Reply »
