When I saw this source image I knew what I wanted to do right away! I used the source and a stock picture (thanks zambyoo7!) along with brushes and the eraser to create my image.

At last!! A finished SBS!

I think what he means is with such a strong light coming from the top, the undersides of the steps etc would be very dark

Thanks RayTedwell for the suggestion. I have fixed the shadows and it looks better to me.

That does look better - good job with the burning . I would just darken the ceiling a bit too.
