The face is very nicely done. Perhaps the eyes look too big (I wouldnt mind if they were a bit bigger than usual, but this is maybe a bit too obvious) and the chin could be a bit more under the mouth, but I like the overall look of the face (a bit what you can see back in the Symbolism art style, artists like Rosetti, Franz Stuck or to be a bit more in combination with greek influence Alma-Tadema)and especially the mouth is very nicely done. What I do think that needs some further work is the hair. Nothing wrong if not all parts get the same attention and finishing touch -it can be very effective in fact- but imo right now it's too rough and needs at least *some* more details to give it more the feeling of hair, to let it look more than just lines. The shading is nice, perhaps you can add some shadow under the flower in her hair and a biiiit of shading for her collarbone and where the neck reaches the body.
Having said all that (and before I get all PXLEyes against me), this is of course a very nice result . Good luck!

Ow, maybe one more edit: Apart that this is nice work, does Persephone has any particular details that is very recognizable for her (so that this image is more than "just" a pretty piece of work...mmmand to be sure, that question is not meant as any negative, just wondering)?

Way to write a novel Waz! It's mostly a time issue on the hair. If I had two weeks she would be better... Only have so many hours. Eyes I did on purpose and the rest is just... my vision.

CMYK: Though I respect literal visual representations of certain images, I was going for more of an emotional one. What *I* saw in my head all these years when I thought of Persephone.

I decided to add a toga, to help hide the funky business that was going on w/ the chest. everything I tried to do to fix it looked weirder than it did before, but I can draw cloth! I actually like it a little bit better now, and now it's more "Greek" for CMYK

OK, so, I looked and I looked and...then looked again at this image! It's fascinating....very very beautiful and very well done...! But...I was reading all comments and thought about the question whether it respects the theme or not! I was a bit confused cause I wanted to vote high on this one..! So...I went back to the contest description and read it more carefully. Even if it says: "create an interesting scene based upon the story", it also says "Depict one of your favorite Greek or Roman Gods/Goddesses in an artful manner...!" And this awesome creation does exactly this! So...high marks!
