I didn't like the iris shape so I started over on that.

blocking in hair. (most of this entry is done on about 5 layers) So I was doing save for web ever time I thought I did something significant since I wouldn't be able to turn layers on and off later)

detailing for eye (sorry I was turning on and off the hair as I worked, so it'll come and go)

more painting and blending. Mostly I would paint w/ a brush and then blend it in with w/ a texture brush. This entry too me so long to find the right colors I wanted.

more rose more hair (the more I worked on the rose the more I hated it, when doing roses in the past I do a completely different technique, so I was very unhappy with this)

completely changed the color of the rose to fit the mood I wanted.

work on the rose, and painted 3 more roses. (the last three I painted one and then painted and tweaked two copies of that on (smudge etc) to make the other two.
