I created all mushroom house elements from source image as per SBS, added backround, grass, sun and rendered a dreamy look by using two sets of brushes: lens flare and light beams brush.
Most of the images come from an endless source of stock at "stock.xchng": http://www.sxc.hu/home.

Wonderful entry and beautiful, only thing I don't ilke is the glasses and smile, it fits the theme, but you got a beautiful sun behind it makes it hard to see that. Maybe that's just me. :P good luck author wonderful job

About the sun's face....my idea was to make the whole image look like the ones from children books, but...since the overall opinion was it doesn't really fit the theme...I've removed it!
