Have been doing some interesting reading on the forum & within the contest on the 3D work that has already been submitted. So before this image gets ripped to pieces I would like to add that it is widely excepted in the world of 3D to use pre-made rigged models in almost ever application whether you use 3DS MAX, Poser Pro, Carrara, Maya, C4D,Daz3 Advanced & so on.
Plus a lot of the high end products come with a massive amount of pre-made models textures maps, specular maps & materials
It would take me personally longer than a week to make a decent model & create all the materials textures maps, specular maps & morphs for it

great work and already highed, but can you tell me - in 3D prog you only lighted or builded too this model? (maybe you alreade said this - my english...) you will use to answere me personal posts, if i seems only, who need to know that stuff.
aand i agree about time theme for good work 
but in this way no need 3d prog to lighting... but good mood anyway

YIKES.. I didn't know there was so much drama in the 3d/photoshop worlds.. thanks for the info.. the finished image is quite nice, I would suspect if the program generates the image it's not much different then searching out sources.. but I could be wrong, I'm more of a .. give credit where credit is due..cover your butt over copyright/permisstion etc and go for it..

it looks blue to me, more blue than a lot of others
Not all blue, source 2 is not usable...
Source 2 is useable…. zip file download is for personal non- commercial use see step 11. Looks blue to me maybe some of you need to re-calibrate your screens

Not sure if you can use the render. It has nothing to do with copyright, it has to do with using other peoples artwork.
Anything else you what to nitpick CMYK46? & Paulus62 if this is the case then every other 3D work that has been submitted is at fault as well pre-made poser models skin hair & clothes know step by step so can’t be sure ? Could be custom…. pre-made wire frame teapot & material maps…….No disrespect ment....

maybe you should have made the flames off of the rocket blue-itd be cool and on theme!
I think there are too many colors other than blue, that can be a problem.
I've worked with AutoCAD for model rendering, then I downloaded Blender, which was crap....Are there any good programs for making the actual models that you might know of? (Comparable to CAD, perhaps less expensive?)
