What's the matter, never neard of variations on a theme? I added the opening to see inside just having fun with the sci-fi universe. I could have done Rama or Ringworld or variations of them. I'll quote Warren Oates in Stripes " Lighten up Francis".

Cool and creative idea, but something that would improve the picture is, instead of just letting the orb reflect random light, show a brighter yellowing light orb to show a star, otherwise it's just a bunch of random light in space.

errr umm... two close stars, one yellow and green... a giant orange planet with wrinkles, (within the gravity pull of the surface of the main planet).. a double ringed planet with a giant moon, a perfect disk Andromeda like galaxy and a ort cloud for good measure.. yes.. exactly like our galaxy... giggle snort...

GolemAura is right. This is different. Mostly well done. Only problem I see is that the two images that you got from the Hubble telescope still have straight lines on the edges from cutting them out, I guess. The images don't blend in that well. I would use a soft brush on lowered opacity to blend the edges in some.

Blur the foreground and sharpen the Halo planet... Will be clear than... Also If you can, use soft focus creatively to put more focus on that ring planet, just don't overdo it... Maybe add lights to the ring or perhaps not... Just a suggestion...

Edit: You can also tilt that apparatus in the top right corner of the image a few 10 degree upwards and pull it back a bit...

Also move the spaceman to the left and flip him horizontally if you want coz if you flip him you may have to adjust his lightning I guess...
