What's the matter, never neard of variations on a theme? I added the opening to see inside just having fun with the sci-fi universe. I could have done Rama or Ringworld or variations of them. I'll quote Warren Oates in Stripes " Lighten up Francis".

Nice use of sources. You may want to remove some of the shadow that comes from under the outer sphere (left side). Good luck!

Cool and creative idea, but something that would improve the picture is, instead of just letting the orb reflect random light, show a brighter yellowing light orb to show a star, otherwise it's just a bunch of random light in space.
