awesome job author.. but your plant source is missing (You doubled the man source) fix that so you don't get no grief
Oh never mind.. you know how to fix it LOL
I really like this image.. very captivating. Good luck!
nice work with the dodge and burn tool
Wow this is a fantastic job, i first thought it was a snake's skin but now i saw it wasn't, still amazing work!
Not bad, would be better with a displacement map.
it's crocodile skin and thanks for your comment.
Gorgeous! Fantastic! I don't know displacement map. But I think it's a great job.
wow, this is quite perfect!
Nice colors and pick of source. Skin looks quite ok, at some parts a bit flat though. Have a look at the nose, that has some depth. The skin however is still flat where it should go up (middle of the nose). Also the left side (for viewer) of the nose the texture should go down again (but then barely visible that you see it going down, because you cant see that much from that angle). It can be fixed, try to use some liquify and gently push up the texture where the nose has more relief. Same can be said from the shoulder. Good luck!
thanks to sol one, linden larsena for the picture of the man http://fr.mg40.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=0&.rand=ddvfvuop6e1lo
thanks for your advice wasowski i fixed the nose with the fluidity filter hope it's better now...
ur not alowed to show your identity on entries.. i suggest you remove your name. I like the work but i think the edges are too sharp, i sugest a soft blur on the edges cus the black outline it has makes it look weird. arround the nose i would try to make the shapes on the skin make look rounded so they follow the body shape and not go straight over..
Nice work - you have a dark outline on the side of the face and the shoulder etc, just a little distracting especially at the shoulder.. Maybe refine your edge slightly?
congrats, good work
Congrats for your first place!
Congrats, nice work
Congratulations for 1st
Congrantulations on 1st
Can I ask pls where's the tutorial for this design? Please I want to learn doing this...I am just a beginner in Photoshop. Thank you so much!
Hello ! Unfortunatly There no Tutorial for this one.
but why? i thought every entry should have the making/tutorial posted...
i agree with you but it's not an obligation.

An entry i made just before PST closed down. The Giraffe source pic was supplied by PST. (5 years and 2174 days ago)
Excelent idea and skin replacement but isn't the light too strong at the right top?
This is so beautiful and terrific! Please fix the light on his head so that I can give it high marks!
haha, i remember this one. nice job, fix the bright spots on the head to make it even better.
real real real nice..very well done man!
i would place a diff part of the skin on the ears so it looks actualy more naturally and not printed on, the bg seems a bit blurry compared to the elephant top...other then that im not sure about it being on theme you replaced some body parts and didnt just replaced the skin.. but thats not me to decide, its a funny and nice piece anyway
I darkened the light on top of the head.......Eladine....its definately on theme....i also disagree about the ears....i think it looks fine.
I think this is brilliant! lol. so funny. high marks from me!
in highres the fixed head looks really desaturated compared to the rest of the body.
also left front leg is a bit blurred at the top.
Nice job, be careful of the edges especially might want to soften around head.
ohh this is defineatly the best piece yet submited to this competition good job!!
hilarious !! this absolutely funny and cool!! LOVE IT!!
one of my favorites in this contest
Congrats for another second place, freejay!
Congratulations for 2nd

Tail needs to be blended more...look at the source pic...it doesn't look pasted on like this.
but.. i didnt copy pasted the tail at all o.o;
I like the tail and the stripe work on the fingers. Except for maybe sharpening up the high res a bit, this is a well done chop. Good work and good luck, author!
P.S. Love the title too!
Wow amazing blending love the tail.
nice blending of the skin.. the tail needs some more work. the hairs are great though!
nice image. tail is ok.
Great idea.. very well made
it doesn't need any changes.. but if you could even out the colors on the rump so they don't look so much like.. welll... you know... (Favorite because it looks so excellently real)
Looks very good high markd
thnx everyone for looking, commenting and voting
I think you did an awesome job on this and I like the fact that you covered her crack so it is not so X-rated.
congrats for your 3rd place
Congrats for your third place, Eladine!
Congratulations for 3rd
so creative! congrats!

nice work SBS?
Looks good, the texture feels very real. good luck!
I'll try to do an SBS tonight when I have some time.
awesome high res! i'm looking forward to the sbs! just on little thing.. you should smudge the hairs on the cheek and the jaw a little bit. the cheek line seems too sharp. it should look more like the hairs around the bottom lip imo
SBS is up.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone!
Elficho, thank you for your suggestion. I was actually playing with that when I was at an earlier stage in the entry's creation and was having trouble getting it to look right. If I get a chance, I will try again and see if I can get a natural effect. Before it looked quite odd and flat.
HiRes looks pretty good, yes. Elficho has a good point about the sharp cheekline. Softly smudging those edges certainly would help, maybe also a tiny bit of blur and as final touch an extra layer with grey (really between #000000 and #FFFFFF) in overlay and then with the burntool on 10% you gently make the edge a bit darker. Tiny extra comment: check the whiskers in this image http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a7/Whiskers.jpg. They just come out of the fur, in your image it's more like they come from the skin. In case you'd like to change that, would be cool . Btw that you think about whiskers in the first place is of course . Good luck!
You really want to rub her face... hehehe good job
Did some work on making the whiskers seem more like they were coming out of the fur and made the jaw line a bit furrier. Didn't want to go too far with that because of the thin, fine fur on her face, but I like the improvement.
Thank you for the helpful suggestions, waz!
Way better, author. Good luck!
she is fierce! great job!
Neat, the hairs are really good.
I like the whiskers no commetns other then that :P nice job clean chop
This looks great... I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me this girl has a genetic defect and really looks like this...lol Great job! Good luck!
nice work, i think this is a winner
the image is great, but mimwow please refrain from those kind of comments, it's tuesday!
great job! I really like what you did here!! Good luck!!
Nice shape in face
I sure thoguht you would beat me o.o;
Interesting koala, great texture!
cutie patootie (just imagine the money you could make if you could breed these for real!!!!.. I'd have one for every room)
Hehe.. good job
SBS would be even better....
Looks so real! Great job...! Good luck...
Absolutly a new idea and looks really good!
It looks very realistic. Well done! Maybe color the ears a little bit, but it looks good either way.
Nicely done, would be great if you could make the black stripes a bit darker (maybe if you copy-paste the tiger texture on a new layer with blending mode overlay?). Source 4 should have a R-warning . Good luck!
awww its cute but the grey on top of the head thats comming thru and on the back would look much better if you had that covered too.. cute idea
Very cute...good job!
Nice - we call them drop bears here in Oz, they are the ones that attack you!! Hahaha.. Not.. Is the green hue on the face deliberate?? Just sort of doesnt look right! Maybe a darker orange instead of green? Nice blend!
love it! The only thing is that the eye looks odd, otherwise it is awesome
