Contest goal:

Videogames were born long ago, and since then they've been part of many people's life. Some have evolved to the point of becoming a piece of art. The goal here is to depict a videogame (preferably an "oldie") close enough for people to guess which one is referenced on your work, but not too much so it doesn't violate copyrights.

For this matter, legal-use images and self-made drawings are allowed, while any graphical material from the actual videogame is not.

Drivenslush: says "Preferably" so you can go with a new one I would suppose, but I'd wait for a MOD to clarify before you go nuts

Akassa: The word preferably implies a more close request to what is being asked, tho the other options (in this case new games) are not excluded. If new games aren't allowed, then the contest description should be changed, literally. ( 5 years and 2738 days ago )

Contest Moderator: The description is quite clear, it is preferable to use an older game for your subject but it's okay to use something newer. My "mood" has nothing to do with the contest description orientallad.

orientallad: do not get me wrong Moderator, you do a great job hear, i really appreciated and admire what you are doing, PXL is now way far better than a year or even years before especially about moderators work, but is not it kind of moody to take you three days and 11 hours to replay to my question? if i had still been on my plan for this contest probably i would not get enough time to finish my entry. Contest Moderator: Moderators are not on duty 24/7, it's been stated before that if you ask a question and the answer isn't forthcoming you can always ask a mod directly. Mods have many chores to tend to besides having personal life responsibilities, it's not a question of "mood" it's a matter of being preoccupied with other obligations. As I've said the description is clear and should be easily understood, Akassa's response is quite correct. You still had 3 days 20hrs after my response to create an entry and you did comment that you would "...give this one up". I appreciate your compliment about the mod team, just remember what I've said, you can always contact a mod directly with your questions if you don't get an answer, we can't be more accommodating than that. I didn't want to make it too obvious but all the symbols that identify the game are there. It's not an old game but it has a few years already. It's a rpg and it's quite famous.
