But IMHO there's room for improvement... the stripes on the cat can be blended nicer (edges are to harsh) and a lack of a decent background which can be solved by a very blurred forest source or something like that. In short... I really really do like the head (don't even try to touch it anymore, it is perfect the way it is now. If you do: I have my ways to find you author ) but you can give the rest of the image some more attention.

Ummm...now you've lost all major reference to the tilted bulb contest source...Just having it as the bright spots on the flowers is a minimal use at best, making this a nice CBR, but a bit of a topic stretch...But it'll probably still win, because too many voters couldn't care less about the amount of contest source when compared to the "wow" factor. It's interesting, but too busy looking as a composition, with no clear subject or focal point. The red shape is visually dominant in placement and color, but the white then pushes the eye away from it, with all the rest of the objects not really explaining much more. The people on the left are too dark on top, you can barely see them, so they look like a bunch of legs. The egg thing discourages perusal with the 3 tanks in the front...They're like a visual "gate." This could be much more dynamic with a bit more work.

The dark area on the right does not match in tone to the rest of the image, it looks too blue and does not add anything to the mood or composition. You'd be better off cropping the sides and reducing the fireworks' bokeh effect to squeeze it back into the image. Reply »

Overall this looks good, great concept, text looks dead on to me. I think if you were to create some more depth in the area of the eyes and breather filters you would have a better image. Try creating a shadow effect around the inner portion of the eye lens area, maybe use the burn tool carefully for this shading. Nice job on this, I do like it. Good luck. Reply »
