Drivenslush: I think we are going to have to have a mod clarify what a caricature really is, some great entries but I think they have missed the concept of caricature ( 5 years and 2870 days ago )

spaceranger: A true caricature exaggerates the prominent features of the subject and minimizes the smaller features. A big nose becomes huge, a small mouth becomes tiny, in general the features are distorted in concert with actual proportions exaggerating them to a point where the image is an extreme version yet readily identifiable with the subject. Different artists do this to different degrees. True not all entries are technically true to the definition but we do have to allow for the individuals interpretation of his/her subject... besides IMHO this is a good fun contest after all.
