Ohhhh how I wish you had given a bit of a story to this mysterious image. One says HALT the other says STOP. This is a blast from the past. Is it really the same road?
I've added the information available now - the original was taken in 1948 - it is definitely the same road - have a look at the StepByStep. I live about 20 meters to the left.
