Love how the 'chook-pen' is seperated from the main bedroom. It is probably much cooler on the roof - would love to know a bit more about where this is.

It's in Luxor, Egypt. Notice the satellite dish at the bottom of the photo
I cannot imagine if it's raining
Will they be soaked by the down pour? Or is there any other way to protect themselves from either hot or cold weather?

Yes Amanda - there are chooks (chickens) on the roof near the satellite dish.
Sleeping under the night sky! What a bliss. A photograph worth its while, author.
I like this one a lot. It's a nice photo on its own, but it's got an incredible story behind the photo too, and that's why I think it's great. Bravo!
