You call it old?
these are hand made engineering bricks, they are quite old, maybe around 80 or 90 years, maybe even a little more.

how is this a close up?
They're handmade brick that look like they were relayed. It's not unheard of either. Sometimes old bricks are salvaged from old buildings just to get relaid into a wall. People like the old look. You probably could have got closer.
nice image -- like how the central focus makes the mortar lines seem to go in two directions
