Do you see the tax documents? The adding machine? Did you even look at it in high res? Kryricom, you discredit a lot of entries and it really gets old. How about a different comment like the face value like the quality and the general POV of the photo, rather than question whether the man is truly an accountant? Reply »

ummmm... actually, I did look at it in high res. I even magnified it. I don't see anything that indicates tax documents, just some papers. I also couldn't tell what was on the computer screen. I doin't doubt the guy is an accountant, but was merely saying there is no visual indication of it. But if you'd really like, it's a touch dark as well, except for those overexposed spots. Reply »

There are some paper, but you can't tell what they are as you can't actually read them. They could be anything. The computer screen is also unreadable. The hands are on the keyboard, not very mathematical.

I think there's a calculator or something hidden behind the letters. The paper roll looks similar to the old styled calculators. However you cannot see it clearly, so it's only a guess.

The picture needs more to show that the man is accountant. Something that tells supports it. Right now, you have to look hard to find anything to support this. Reply »

Alright I guess you two have a point. But at the same time, the computer just being on is doing math, every time he types there's data sent back through the CPU in code and the computer is always negotiating space and time and all the other configurations. I mean, like I said that's how the computer communicates is with mathematics.

It's true, the computer does do math. However, there are two issues with it. First, the focus isn't on the computer. Secondly, you can only see the screen, which consist of pixels, and doesn't do any math.

The screen only receives the command what pixel does what, which cannot be seen as math at all. Reply »
