This is fromt he inside of the building looking up not from the outside, isn't that a ceiling?
Sorry to say but a roof is the TOP of a building and a ceiling is under it. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dict.asp?Word=ceiling. Helping people to learn?

BTW Mekun, the first definition of the word at the link you gave is "The upper interior surface of a room."
