i think did copy paste from another site... coz i think BG's focal length is not matching with moon. is it?
If you can find where this was taken from, I'd sure like to see it. Because I took it in my back yard.
i believe it. my canon 100-400mm gets shots like that.
o4mehul, be careful throwing accusations around like that unless you can prove them..........
I believe the term for this is "telephoto compression", it makes distant and close object appear "closer" together, also known as the telephoto-effect...a high quality tele-lens will most certainly get that level of detail on the moon if the proper exposure is used. IMO this appears genuine as I have seen other examples of this type of moon shot on other sites that specialize in asto-photography. some of the space shots pulled off by "normal" cameras is astounding...
EDIT: now seeing who the author is...I'm now CERTAIN it's not a fake...they wouldn't do that IMO...
