Isn't finding a penny good luck? I do believe the contest says "Bad Luck Omens". I think a description is in order.
EDIT: like I said, a description would help. Closer crop wouldn't hurt either.
A penny dfacing down is bad luck to pick up...rule is to turn it right side up and leave it for next person.
It is a good shot, but it got me confused too...
Remsphoto is correct
As a numismatist (one who studies or collects coins) to help clerify Nator, this is the reverse or the back side of the coin. The obverse is the front side.
