OH MY, I don't think this is a failure because you capture movement so well and look at the colour palette...wow. The colours compliment red and green with yellow's excitement up on the canvas. NOPE this is not a failure ....I love it
This is the kind of failure that I would like to take every day
Loved this one, congrats.
congrats for this
Thank you Brian

Awww, thank you. I wonder if I could sell it for 3.5 million Euros. Nikita, thank you for critiquing, it is sooooo appreciated.
I loved you Monet too
I was trying to catch the fox, but he was too fast to focus on before darting away. (142 days ago)
Awww, I like this and your title is good. See on the left side how bright his fur is ? It is the tendency of the human eye to gravitate to the brightest pop on the canvas, so our eyes go there and away from his face. I wonder if you cropped this a tad tighter and eliminated that bright spot and totally focused on his face if it would give you a stronger photograph. Between you and me and the 4 walls of this computer, I don't think this is such a terrible failure, instead, it whispers of nature's hiddend beauty.
Thanks for the comment. I think you were right about the bright spot. I redid the image with the bright area cropped out.
Yes, I like it better, don't you? Not only that the bright spot is gone but you have this little fox peering in, leaning into the photo all thanks to that nice composition you have.

WHAT ? Where is the failure in this? I think it's great, an abstract on many dimensions.
It "failed" because I wanted a clear sharp image of the fish, but the camera's auto-focus had other ideas.
..... so it was a "best failure"?
Do you remember, years ago a painting sold for a couple of million dollars? It was an abstract and was drawn by a gorilla? Hmmm, I'm not sure where I'm going with this...I think this could sell for a few million Euros and hung proudly in some CEO's office! I like it and for some reason, it reminds me of yogurt with fruit (strawberries and blackberries) ...!
Yes, what is planned seldom happens, what happens is seldom planned.
Quote:- "...a few million Euros...."
I thought a picture is worth only a 1000 words?
I like your quote....need to write it down. Thanks.
