Contest goal:

This is a bit of a weird duckling in our photocontests, for 2 reasons: 1. You must use a cell phone camera. 2. You must use an app to apply a filter on that photo. In your description you must tell us what kind of cell phone you use and the name of the app and provide a link to that app. If you can tell something about the applied filter: that would be great but not needed.

You are not allowed to apply Photoshop (or something similar) on a photo taken with your normal camera.. Some good apps for Android are for instance Cymera, Pudding Camera but you can use any app you like.

jadedink: Opinions, opinions. Its like everything else, not all of us will agree. This is a decent theme, because the photo must be decent to start with, then a challenge to find a GOOD app. ( 5 years and 2283 days ago )

robvdn: @Eris: yes we are out of ideas (I do try to post at least 5 contest suggestions a week but seem to be the only one doing so and I do not claim all my ideas are great) and besides that this is something a lot of ppl do enjoy if you look at the amount of downloads off these kind of apps and the diversity of these kind of apps. It is just a fun contest even though I do see potential to repeat it every now and then or even make it a separate kind of contest which runs (with or without themes) every week...
Besides that it is still about entering a good photo and keeping the balance with the filter, not depending on the filter too much. Besides that: there's 8 other contests for you to enjoy this week
