Homage To A Long Life - Photography Contest [28 entries]
Contest goal:
Older people have characteristic faces and expressions. Age shows but also has it's beauty. Let's make this contest an homage to all the older people around us. Portraits are allowed (no self shots) and the person(s) in your entry needs to be at least 75 years old (no we do not ask for IDs but age has to be showing). Only 75+ year old people allowed in this contest so for instance no grandma with her great granddaughter on her lap.

Beautiful shot
Lovely, my favorite, though lighting was not from the lamp as well. A combination of two kinds of lighting would give it a more period feel which is what I assume the shot wants to portray. I suppose being in black & white, you need not worry about a temperature clash between two kinds of lighting.
