Dew is almost universal, and interesting because there is at least a little on the majority of all grass at some point or other. This makes for a lot of options and creativity for a picture. Capture dew wherever it may be! Be creative and good luck!

kyricom: Does frost count as "frozen dew?" (2 years and 219 days ago)
locksmagic: After a bit of research it seems the is actually a difference between frost and frozen dew. Frost is ice crystals that form on surfaces whereas frozen dew are droplets that are frozen. Here is an example of frozen dew. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs38/f/2008/338/e/b/ebc00c892f06dab3379de5a05381316b.jpg (2 years and 219 days ago)

A lucky catch with my cheap camera. My only regret was that I didn't have my SLR with me. A little sharpening, a little color correction (both minor), cropped (2 years and 217 days ago)
Author, a "vignette" is when darker, out of focus (usually) edges are placed at the corners. It gives it that "Old Timey" look. But, Mod (et al), it might just be my old eyes, but I'm not sure I see one on this shot. When I look at it in high res, the dark areas in the corners just appear to be the natural composition, not to have been added. *shrug* I don't know. I could be wrong. Reply »

TY Kyricom. The flower entry you see now isn't what the mod was talking about though. It was a black and white picture I had and based on your description of the vignette, I can see why they said it had it. It's cool though. I just changed it and hopefully this one will work. Reply »
