the set-up is nice and the subject is good...just a hint for future submissions of this sort, I may have used a reflector to fill the shadow area between the glass and bottle to brighten it up and level the light a bit...just an opinion

Very colourful, IMO it would have been better with a larger f-stop, to the background was softer.

agree with that...the background is quite busy, if the f stop was larger, then it would have softened it and so it would not have appeared so dominating.

Had i not been taking pictures with my cell phone, yeah, i could have changed alot in the shot...but....considering it was with a cell phone, and a little under the influence, i'm quite suprised with how it turned out. :lol:

You're right, for a cell phone it's a very nice shot!

Nice job, I did something very similar a while back so I know your frustrations! My only suggestion is to level the shot out, that would help it a lot. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for your comment locksmagic. Out of level is on purpose. I put a quarter underneath the bottom of the glass to give it just a hint of tilt as if to say a little tipsy.
