Contest goal:

In this contest your goal is to take a photo of 'the last one'. Meaning you will photograph, for example, a last petal on a flower, a last leaf in a tree, a last cookie on a plate, a last man in the train station... And so on.

Pick whatever subject you like, as long as it expresses 'the last', not 'the first'. Your photo should not need additional explanation for understanding it, it must be very clear from the photo itself, but to be safe, mention in your description what it represents.

cocor: It's ok if you have ONE leaf on a tree. But let's take a shot of a man in a train station. How do you know he's the first or the last? The same goes for lots of things. A shot showing a fork or bird or a pillow -would be considered as "last one"? ( 5 years and 3338 days ago )

UncleJimmy: @ Fallinghorse...because if it's the first leaf I would suppose there would be other buds visible, if it were the last, I would expect to see utterly naked branches surrounding the last leaf. ( 5 years and 3337 days ago )

FallingHorse: @ itsmymoment - I know that but I am just saying as en example - how would we know it's the first or last in most shots as Cocor asked - we have to take the artists word for it that it was the last. There might be one cookie on a plate but how do we know there aren't more in the fridge ... because the artist said so. So perhaps the theme would have been better of to suggest lone also being considered as last ( 5 years and 3336 days ago )

A friend and i went crazy with BB gun, a D300 with 8 FPS and 1/8000 of a second as shutterspeed. some of them came out pretty good.

This was out last egg so we had to paint it with a black marker :)
