DML: I´m agree with friiskiwi, I hope the people read the contest goal. Anyway, good idea, I think we´ll see very good shots. (44 days ago) animmax: I'm sorry - but 1, 2 sec shots are not what I would have considered as 'long exposure'. (43 days ago) rrhall: first off, depending on the speed of a subject 1-2 seconds would be considered a long exposure. a 1/2 second is "long exposure" for portrait, 1/30th of a second is a long exposure for a golf swing...its all based on the speed and distance covered by a subject. Second I agree that time lapse is not the same...8 seconds of a football stadium showing no motion is not time lapse photography...the whole purpose is to get a sense of time passing, regardless of the length of the exposure (42 days ago) animmax: Actually when I made this contest suggestion it specified 3 different exposure times to avoid this issue. Time lapse as a title of the contest is wrongly chosen. I would say just follow the rules
